(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2009) In a week 16 NADS Fantasy Football League showdown, Got KAYA? squeaked by a tough Home Brews team by a score of 89 to 83, silencing a partisan crowd of 73,697. Home Brews opened as a 14.3 point favorite over Got Kaya and jumped out to an early 14 point lead after the Friday night game. Got Kaya closed the gap to only a 6 point lead after the Sunday morning games. After the afternoon games, Got Kaya took a commanding 34 point lead but he was done for the week. Home Brews were done for the day but still had 2 more players on Monday night. Got Kaya watched in horror as Home Brews managed to score 28 more points on Monday night, but it wasn’t quite enough as Got Kaya hung on to squeak past Home Brews by only 6 points, 89-83, for the GAME OF THE WEEK and UPSET OF THE WEEK.
Got KAYA? were led to their 6 point victory by a 28 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who beat the Denver Broncos defense for 322 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 29 rushing yards. With this performance, McNabb was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 17 point effort from Robert Meachem, who snuck past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 66 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD in addition to 7 rushing yards.
"We finally got the monkey off our backs," Got KAYA? coach Cheech and Chong said.
Home Brews were helped out in a losing cause by a 25 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 94 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 43 receiving yards. With this performance, Peterson was the number 2 ranked running back for week 16. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Ray Rice, who beat the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 141 rushing yards in addition to 14 receiving yards.
"We came up a little short, this was a very bitter defeat" Home Brews coach Joe Escobedo Jr. said.
Compounding the issue, Home Brews could have scored 123 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but coach Joe Escobedo Jr. left key players like Jay Cutler and his corresponding 30 points on the bench.Got Kaya finished as the 2009 NadsFFL Super Bowl Champ, while Home Brews finished in second place.

Got KAYA? were led in week 15 by a 26 point effort from DeSean Jackson, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 140 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD in addition to 9 rushing yards. In addition, Eddie Royal was not injured in week 15 and contributed 5 points, but he's listed as questionable in week 16 due to an injured neck , which might severely limit his fantasy production.
"We must control the tempo of the game," Got KAYA? coach Cheech and Chong said.
Home Brews were led in week 15 by a 24 point effort from Reggie Wayne, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 132 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
"We must show our dominance and destroy our opponent" Home Brews coach Joe Escobedo Jr. said.
This is the first game between these two franchises in 2009, and is sure to be a classic showdown.

NADS NOTES WEEK 17
Once again, congratulations to GOT KAYA for winning the 2009 NadsFFL Super Bowl Championship.I still have to get the trophy from Al and I should be sending to Mark and James (Cheech and Chong) within a couple of weeks.
Week 17 of Fantasy football has ended and the scores were much lower than previous weeks – that’s probably because all the big stars were resting for the playoffs.Out of the teams that submitted lineups, we only had 2 teams score over 100 points.We had a high score of 114 and a low score of only 42 points.
Congratulations to the Home Brews for getting the High Score of the Week with 114 points.Believe it or not, this is only his second HSOTW this season.Home Brews will get 5 bones this week for HSOTW.Honorable mention goes to Gonna Win Again with 107 points.Low Score of the Week goes to Got Kaya with only 42 points.
SURVIVOR POOL:
Congratulations to Ginja for winning segment 3 of the Survivor Pool.Both Ginja and Butch took Chicago over Detroit.Needless to say it came down to the tie-breaker.Butch took 44 total points while Ginja had 47 total points.The total points for the game were 60 points.Obviously Ginja was the closest.Ginja will get 10 bones from the transaction money for winning.Once again, congratulations Ginja.
